This is a PARTIAL conversion of your H10-76 or H10-76XL Military David Clark headset to be used in general aviation aircraft. Comes with one microphone and an U-174/U to GA adapter.
Learn why these parts are crucial to change on your military headset below:
Because military headsets are low impedance they do not function correctly in civilian aircrafts. By changing the impedance of the earphones and microphone, you can convert your military headset to be functionable in your civilian plane.
Most kits do not offer the earphones. The reason is that if you fly alone, you will not notice any issues with the low impedance earphones. If you do fly alone, you should check out the related products for our PARTIAL version of this kit. We do not recommend this option as if you ever fly with someone, this could cause an issue. Usual problems are quieter headsets.
We offer our Deluxe version which has a boom upgrade for the H10-76 headsets.
