This is a fireman's headset for use with Motorola Radios. It is a behind the head style headset with push to talk button on the right ear cup.

Talk-Thru Module

On the left ear cup is a talk-through module which allows you to turn on the circuit and hear all outside noises. This is protected by a noise sensor which will automatically switch off incase of a large unexpected noise were to happen during operation. Powered by a 9-volt batter located on the headset band.

External talk-through box great for integration with headsets or helmets when a need for communication with a person like a patient on a gurney ready to board a helicopter. The need to talk to them and still remain in contact with the aircraft. the talk-through box can be adapted to fit most any style plug from the headset or helmet.

The box has a anti bump switch to turn on and off the external sound. The box also comes equipt with a noise suppression to block out any sudden levels over 80db. This wil compress the sound down and when the sound is gone will return to normal communication with the person next to you. Also the box has a place for a second headset or helmet to plug into to allow a intercom feature.
